Fire Alarms
Designed to give early warning of fire so that occupants can escape to a place of safety. It is essential therefore that all critical features of the fire alarm system are working properly. To ensure this all fire alarms are required to be tested quarterly in compliance with I.S. 3218. Any defects coming to light as a result are required to be rectified as soon as possible. Our personnel are trained to carry out this work and ensure your system is maintained to the highest standards. 

Emergency Lighting
Eessential to provide adequate light along the escape route should the mains electricity fail. Emergency Lighting systems are required to be tested every quarter in compliance with I.S. 3217. Any defects arising from such testing are required to be rectified as soon as possible. Our personnel are trained to carry out this work and ensure your system is maintained to the highest standards.

Pressurised Fire Extinguishers (PFEs) Another vital part of the safety systems to protect occupants against the dangers of fire in their building. PFEs require regular inspection and annual testing to I.S. 291. Our personnel are competent to carry out such tests and advise on the type and maintenance of PFEs to ensure the highest standards.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) 
Required to be carried out on a periodic basis to certify if portable appliance equipment is safe and without risk. Such testing is governed by Regulation 81 (Portable Equipment) of S.I. no. 299 of 2007 and comes under the Health and Safety Acts.

Periodic Test Reports 
Becoming more and more a requirement where interested parties want reassurance as to the state of the electrical system in a building. Electrical installations can deteriorate with age and use. It is therefore good practice that electrical installations are inspected periodically, to ensure they comply with the National Rules for Electrical Installations. This work must be completed by a Registered Electrical Contractor, and in our case by one of our many trusted associates.
